Aither 1.1 Made from a very special Micro Closed Cell Polymer Resin “Aither”,

A Tannus tyre uses a foaming technology. It may look similar to that used in many lightweight sports shoes, but it is totally different from any other foaming technology both in terms of its process or the condition. It is made from the one-and-only material “Aither compound” with a very unique foaming process. Aither1.1 has much enhanced elasticity than Aither1.0, ensuring a better feel whilst riding and good grip performance. Furthermore, Aither1.1 is performing at a much lower rolling resistance – approximately 15% less. It now has the rolling resistance rate that closely matches premium pneumatic city bike tyres, taking this a step closer to ideal bike tyre. Amazing grip all year round, with very low rolling resistance, incredible comfort and unrivalled range of at least 9000km Aither compound has a very strong independence, and is extremely durable against any chemical attack from the outside. Use your current rims

There is no need to change rims, if you have clincher rims now, Tannus tyres can be mounted on them using the Tannus patented locking pin system and instructions, and tools are included with every tyre. The rim width is very important, so please measure your rims before purchase to guarantee a perfect fit. Installation

It is recommended that Tannus tyres be installed by a Tannus approved fitting service to guarantee maximum safety and performance.

Please note that a Tannus Tyres will look smaller in diameter than the wheel as they come coiled. These will stretch to fit once they have been uncoiled. There are rim size compatibility charts for the tyres and fitting pins provided with them on the web site as indicated on the information sheets.
