A patented steerer section allows for Columbus' top of the range fork to bring integrated cable routing to the 1-1/8" steerer tubes favoured by some of the best frame builders in the industry The Trefoil section of the fork steerer has been created to provide the optimal compromise between frontal and lateral rigidity, representing a market leading perfomance solution to cable integration. With the development of its patent-pending Trefoil steerer shape, Columbus is able to offer an industry leading internal cable routing system for the 1"1/8-1"-1/2 steerer tube diameter, which through countless years of research Columbus have found this is the optimal diameter specification for handmade bikes made from Columbus tubing. The Disc brake Trefoil road fork features a magnetic cover for the caliper bolts providing a clean and minimal aesthetic. The direct mount of the fork avoids the use of adaptors which provides an overall lighter yet stiffer structure.
