A New Dutch designed eBike specifically to help larger riders to get on board a bike with a difference. The Award Winning Knaap Bikes have been designed to take, in comfort, a rider of up to 28 stone on what the industry calls “The Most Instagrammable Bike Ever”
Looking like something Steve McQueen would be escaping on if he were alive, the Knaap pedal assist eBikes are fully road legal and can take the largest of riders up to 30 miles on a single battery charge on a comfortable motorcycle style saddle rather than the traditional razor blade like saddle.
This ebike represents a significant development in the cycling industry where bikes have remained almost unchanged for over 150 years. The Knaap Bikes provide pedal assistance so that you can very gently turn your legs whilst getting significant assistance from the motor that drives the rear wheel and over time riders can lower the support needed as they gain confidence.
eBikes travel at a road legal maximum speed of 25kmh/15.8mph and can be ridden in all of the same places as traditional bicycles meaning that it gives everyone the opportunity to use cycling as a means of transport as well as leisure and pleasure.
