His vibrant, kinetic work has appeared in the New York Times, Businessweek, WIRED, and more, and he’s collaborated with artists including Beck, Frank Ocean, Roisin Murphy, and Robyn and prestigious streetwear brands including Brain Dead, amongst others. For his collaboration with Cinelli, Amado drew inspiration from a kaleidoscopic range of iconic graphic elements from their 75-year history - from heraldic logo details to hand-drawn sketches for 1990s advertisements to 1970s Supercorsa decals reinterpreting them through his own distinctive artistic lens. I recently took my dated and tired old racing bike along to Leeli Cycles for some much needed work. I was cheerfully greeted by Ben the very friendly owner and number one mechanic. He suggested a full service and looked over the bike to access the condition of the other cycle components.
