Upgrade - SRAM APEX Build Kit

Using the same build kit as our popular G2 gravel bike, this is a complete build kit suitable to build up your Kinesis or any other brand frameset. All you need is your chosen frameset and this build kit, and together youll have a complete, affordable custom gravel bike in no time.

SRAM Apex is the group that knows how to have a good time. Wide-range 1x11 gearing for gravel, bikepacking, adventure, casual cruises, and everything in between. Apex connects you to your bike with smooth and reliable shifting, chain retention, and controlled and powerful hydraulic braking. Apex is simple to understand and easy to use, keeping the focus on what matters most confidence-inspiring bike riding.

With one chainring up front and a wide range of gears at the back, Apex creates a much simpler ride. The unique chainring and chain design securely holds your chain in place, so you can focus on your journey.

Hydraulic disc brakes provide pinpoint control with minimal effort, ensuring that even when the going gets loose, your tyres will stay connected to the ground. Unless you dont want them to. Apex DoubleTap mechanical shifting uses one lever to shift. Click once for a harder gear. Push further for easier gears. Keep your left hand free for snacks.

The wheels are Sector Gravel, which are lightweight, durable, and feature tubeless compatible aluminium rims. These are supplied with Schwalbe G-1 Allround tubeless-ready gravel tyres and inner tubes. Tubeless valves and sealant are not included so if thats your preference, just pair these wheels with your favourite valves and sealant and go fully tubeless.

The build kit is finished off with Kinesis gravel flared double butted aluminium handlebars featuring the perfect size and flare for control and comfort. Finally, we supply the Kinesis stem, bar tape, and Kinesis seat post topped off with the X3 saddle from Selle Italia. Good to go.

Note:This build kit is fully compatible with the following Kinesis framesets Kinesis Tripster AT, Kinesis Tripster AT Plus, Kinesis GX Race, Kinesis G2.

This kit will also work with our Kinesis ATR frameset, however it will require a 31.6mm seat post.
