The Eagle 2 is a revolutionary pad that first utilized the hardened reinforced steel internal backbone. This larger pad is a good choice when frame, wheel and fork design allow. The full length post makes adjustments possible for all cantilever systems. The extended pad length and off centre post design provides even wear for longer life. A water groove is located below the mounting post for optimal water dispersion. The angled plow tip is featured for rain and mud removal. This also provides correct toe in during installation. High quality post mounted pads to suit cantilevers brakes on mountain, cyclo cross and touring bikes
This is a special compound for carbon rims and is ideal for cyclocross use
Installation Instructions:
- Clean the rim surface before installing new pads
- Place the new Kool-Stop pads into the brake caliper arms and finger tighten the nuts
- Squeeze brake lever to allow correct pad to rim alignment; tighten the nuts. Do not over tighten
- Break In Pads. Full stopping power may not develop until after several braking applications have conditioned the rim surface. Proper "toe in" alignment prevents brake chatter
- Check the pad and rim alignment after the pads are broken in and after every ride
- Important: Do not ride the bike until the brakes are checked and functioning properly. Designed for bicycle use only. All Kool-Stop Pads meet or exceed C.P.S.C and D.I.N bicycle standards

I recently took my dated and tired old racing bike along to Leeli Cycles for some much needed work. I was cheerfully greeted by Ben the very friendly owner and number one mechanic. He suggested a full service and looked over the bike to access the condition of the other cycle components. A very comprehensive quote was later emailed to me listing all the parts that Ben would require to complete the job. He phoned me as soon as my bike was ready and I hurried along to pick it up. My first reaction was, wow! It looked as good as new and fully roadworthy again. Ben had done an incredible job in transforming my old racer back to its former glory! I'm very pleased to have used Leeli Cycles along with Ben's wealth of mechanical knowledge, sound advice and attention to detail. Even happier still to support this amazing small local business offering great value and excellent customer service. An outstanding shop in every way for all your cycling needs with the personal touch. Pop in and see for yourself. I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.
